BEC is suitable for cleaning a wide variety of food and beverage contact surfaces and associated equipment, including glass, plastic, rubber and stainless steel.
Fermenters, Kegs, Fittings, Bottles, and Tubing: 60g per 10 litres of hot water.
Brew Kettles and CIP/circulation: 80g-150g per 10 litres of hot water.
Circulate through equipment or immerse surfaces and allow cleaner to loosen soil. Rinse with clean water and sanitise, if required.
Usage rate and Temperature vary depending on level of soil present and plant operating conditions – Higher temperatures accelerate the cleaning process – can be used at all water temperatures but most effective when used at temperatures above 60°C.
Tips for heavy soils: Increase water temperature. Allow to soak for up to 24 hours. Use soft bristled brush.
Note: Oxygen is released slowly under normal conditions. Containers and tanks should be fitted with pressure release devices or vented and should be kept cool.
Keep out of reach of children. Powder can be harmful to eyes. As a precaution goggles and gloves should be worn.
Store under cool, dry conditions; keep containers closed.
